Dr. David AJ Mattinen 

David has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and his Doctor of Chiropractic designation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

He is co-founder of Core Insight and co-inventor of The Integrative Health Care Solution.  He is also the developer of the Core Insight Coaching Programs. 

David is currently practicing in St. John's Newfoundand.  Prior to this he had been in private practice in mid-town Toronto since 2001. Prior to private practice he spent 4 years as a locum chiropractor serving patients in over 30 chiropractic practices across Ontario and in Sydney Australia.

His personal interests in holistic healing principles and diverse work experience have resulted in the unique and effective approach he now uses with his patients.

»  Dr. Jennifer S Drover 

Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Memorial University and her Doctor of Chiropractic designation from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

She is co-founder of Core Insight™ and co-inventor of The Integrative Health Care Solution™. Jennifer is currently practicing in St. John's Newfoundand.  Prior to this she had been in private practice in mid-town Toronto since 2001. Prior to private practice, she spent 3 years as a locum chiropractor across Ontario and in Sydney Australia.

Jennifer has found great success in her patient care. She blends her education and interest in holistic nutrition with excellent communication skills and effective hands-on body work to bring the best out of her patients.

»  Dr. Janice Drover

Janice graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelors in Human Kinetics in 1996. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2000.  She then obtained a post-doctorate specialty in chiropractic sports sciences, thus entitling her to the designation sports specialist. 

Janice was an assistant professor in the department of Clinical Education at CMCC and was the official sports chiropractor for the York University Varsity program. Janice has been the chiropractor for many local and provincial sports teams in Ontario. She has clinical experience in hospital and corporate settings and has continued a private practice at Core Insight™ since 2003.

She meets her patient's specific needs by using tailored treatment protocols. Janice's communication and listening skills allow her to help her patients achieve pain relief, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.

»  Dr. Eric Crane

Eric Crane graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa in 1995.

Eric has extensive work experience. He has worked in multiple clinics in Delaware State and New York State. He  joined Core Insight in early 2006.

He is a dedicated athlete. Having run three marathons, Eric has first hand experience with issues of training and sports injury management. He is also regularly involved in charitable groups such as Rotary Club.

Registered Massage Therapy

Heather Radford-Davis RMT

Heather is a Registered Massage Therapist with two years of clinical experience.  As well as being a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Canadian Massage Therapists Alliance, she is a Director with the Newfoundland and Labrador Massage Therapists' Association.

Heather has worked with two private massage therapy clinics prior to joining Core Insight in 2007.  She has also volunteered for a number of employee health fairs around the city, including Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission and Memorial University.

Her interests in educating her patients combined with her listening and communication skills leaves her patients with the knowledge and reassurance they need to be an active participant in their health and well-being.

Guest Lecturer:

Alida Diane Bouwman BSc, OT(C)

Alida Diane Bouwman received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from McGill University in 1984.  She has 23 years of experience working in pediatrics.  From 1984-88 she was employed in Montreal at the Canadian Institute for NeuroIntegrative Development (Giant Steps) a program for children with Autism.  From 1988-94 she worked at the Children's Rehabilitation Centre in St. John's, NL with children who have physical disabilities.  Since 1994 she has been working on the Learning and Behaviour Team at the Janeway assessing and providing intervention to children with ADHD, written output disabilities, dyslexia, Tourettes, Asperger's, Autism, and NVLD. 

She is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment and has extensive training and experience in Sensory Integration.  She is a certified Brain Gym Practitioner and Instructor.  She has attended courses in Healing Touch, Touch for Health, Myofascial Release, Crainosacral Therapy, Behavioural Barometer, Body Talk and Second Aid. 

Diane works with the pediatric, psychiatric and senior population. Her experience and creativity help her clients to have a better understanding of their performance barriers and how to move beyond them.
